Introduction

Easter can be a fun holiday.  What activities can you create to help make it even more fun?

The Task

Your task for this special day is to prepare an activity book for Easter.  Your book must contain one fun-filled page per person in your group.  Each page must be a different activity.

You can create a puzzle, mazes, songs, a poem, a quiz, ... use your imagination!

You could give information about the Easter holiday.

You might have an information page about Easter Eggs (how to color them and why are they a part of the Easter holiday).

The Process

Be careful! You've got only 60 minutes. Don't waste time! Organize your work. Don't chat too much!

Your group can work together to create each page, or you may divide up the work.

You can find a lot of ideas for your books here:

http://greetings.yahoo.com/browse/Holidays/Easter/
http://www.easterbunnys.net
http://www.holidays.net/easter

You may use the sites above for ideas, but you must create your own pages.  Do not print the pages from the above sites.

You can use the following link to create a puzzle for your book.  You may print one puzzle from this site:

Evaluation

Your work will be evaluated as follows:

  • Presentation: Your book must be original and creative!  It must be neat and organized.
  • Appropriate level: Create a book that your classmates can understand and complete. Write clear instructions for each page.

Conclusion

Do you think you know more about Easter?
Do you know any new activities to make this holiday more exciting?

Happy Easter to everybody!
